I barely get to talk to my girlfriend

But it’s not her fault. And it’s not my fault either.

We both have more than enough on our plates. 4 of her 5 classes are dance classes, so she can’t text during class. Whenever I have a chance to text, she’s dancing. When she has a chance to text, I’m either at work or at the gym.

At night, both of us are doing homework, which is never an easy task in college. I can’t even get a nice conversation with her because of the frustration that we both have with college.

We’re definitely not losing feelings for each other. I’m just saying that college is just extremely time consuming. It also doesn’t help that she’s a 45 minute drive away.

I can definitely sense the frustration in her. I can feel it through her texts, and her voice. She knows my frustration with college as well.

However, she is a strong person. And I feel confident in myself as well. College may get the best of us, but we’re coming out victorious in the end.

It’s so frustrating seeing these “professional” athletes getting in trouble. Millions of people, myself included, wish they had the talent to be in that spotlight. Didn’t your coaches teach you that off-field conduct is just as important as on-field conduct?

“Student loans are destroying the imagination of youth. If there’s a way of a society committing mass suicide, what better way than to take all the youngest, most energetic, creative, joyous people in your society and saddle them with, like $50,000 of debt so they have to be slaves? There goes your music. There goes your culture. There goes everything new that would pop out. And in a way, this is what’s happened to our society. We’re a society that has lost any ability to incorporate the interesting, creative and eccentric people.” ~David Graeber
